To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in their original packaging. For large furniture pieces, we can arrange a collection from your home — return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Prefer to arrange the return yourself? We're happy to share the details.
All Bambuá pieces carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, as required by EU law.
If your order arrives damaged, all our shipments are fully insured, and you're covered.
Before signing the delivery note, inspect the packaging carefully. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery note and photographed at the time of delivery. Without this, the transport carrier cannot process a damage claim.
Once documented, contact us by email or chat within 24 hours, and we'll handle everything from there. We'll arrange a collection and send a replacement at no cost to you. Please hold onto the original packaging to make the process as smooth as possible.
The Takala bookcase is carved from solid mango wood in a form that defies conventional shelving: five oval platforms are connected by pairs of deeply sculpted, organic uprights that taper, swell and flow between each level in a continuous biomorphic line. The warm brown wood is sanded and polished to a smooth finish, with the natural grain visible in the curves and across every shelf surface.
At Bambuá, we selected the Takala for the rare balance it achieves between sculpture and function; a mango wood bookcase that holds books and objects with the same quiet ease as it commands a room. Its organic form brings warmth and movement to an interior, fitting naturally alongside linen, rattan and other handcrafted pieces.
