Thank you for shopping at Bambuá. We believe that shipping furniture should be affordable and transparent. That’s why we subsidise shipping costs on large items, allowing us to offer some of the most competitive delivery rates in Europe.
1. Shipping Costs & Methods
We automatically calculate the most suitable shipping method for your order based on the size, weight, destination, and supplier of your items.
A. Standard Shipping (Parcels)
For smaller items such as décor, textiles, and accessories, we use standard parcel carriers including GLS, DPD, and PostNord.
Core EU (NL, BE, DE, DK)

Orders under €75: €6.99
Rest of Europe (FR, IT, ES, AT, etc.)

Free shipping on orders over €150–€200 (depending on destination)

Standard shipping starts from €12.99
B. Heavy & Furniture Delivery
Large or fragile items (such as sofas, dining tables, and large lamps) are shipped via specialised freight carriers on pallets to ensure safe transport. We subsidise these delivery costs to keep them affordable.

Please note:
Flat shipping rates apply per product category and destination. In some cases, product size or combined shipments may affect the applicable rate. The final shipping cost will always be shown at checkout before payment.
2. Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product availability, supplier dispatch times, and carrier schedules.

Standard parcels: Approximately 7–14 business days

Freight/furniture deliveries: Approximately 7–14 business days
During seasonal peaks, promotions, or unforeseen logistical delays, delivery may take longer.
3. How Freight Delivery Works (Important)
Freight delivery for large furniture differs from standard parcel delivery.

Curbside delivery:
The carrier will unload the pallet at street level (curbside) at the delivery address. -
No inside delivery:
Drivers are not insured to carry items inside your home, upstairs, or into specific rooms. Please ensure you have assistance available to move items indoors. -
Disposable pallets:
Furniture is delivered on a disposable pallet for protection. The pallet remains with you and must be disposed of by the recipient.
4. Order Processing
Orders are processed and dispatched on business days (Monday–Friday).
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Please note that orders may ship from different warehouses or partner locations.
If you need to leave delivery instructions (e.g. gate code), please add them in the comment field at checkout.
5. Receiving Your Order & Damages
All items are packed securely to minimise the risk of damage. Upon delivery, please follow these steps:

Inspect the packaging before signing for delivery

Note visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt or refuse delivery if necessary

Contact us within 48 hours by emailing photos of the damage and packaging to support@bambua.eu
Prompt documentation allows us to resolve issues efficiently.
6. Failed Deliveries & Incorrect Addresses
Shipping rates include one delivery attempt.
If delivery fails due to:

Incorrect address details

Absence at the delivery address

Inaccessible location
The carrier may charge a re-delivery fee or return the item.
Any costs incurred due to customer-related delivery issues may be deducted from a refund, where applicable.
7. Returns & Cancellations
Return conditions vary by product type and supplier.
If you wish to return an item or cancel your order, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details, eligibility, and instructions.
Some items — including large furniture, made-to-order products, or items shipped directly from partner brands — may only be eligible for return in the case of damage or defect.
