The Bayereut bookcase is built from reclaimed railway wood in a tall, open grid of three columns and multiple shelves, its pale aged timber showing the knots, grooves, and varied tones of wood with a genuine history. The open construction gives it a lightness that belies the weight and character of the material.
At Bambuá, we selected the Bayereut for the story held in each plank and the way reclaimed wood brings warmth to an otherwise functional piece. This railway wood bookcase works in a living room, study, or hallway as both storage and a display of material character.

To be eligible for a return, items must be unused and in their original packaging. For large furniture pieces, we can arrange a collection from your home — return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Prefer to arrange the return yourself? We're happy to share the details.
All Bambuá pieces carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, as required by EU law.
If your order arrives damaged, all our shipments are fully insured, and you're covered.
Before signing the delivery note, inspect the packaging carefully. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery note and photographed at the time of delivery. Without this, the transport carrier cannot process a damage claim.
Once documented, contact us by email or chat within 24 hours, and we'll handle everything from there. We'll arrange a collection and send a replacement at no cost to you. Please hold onto the original packaging to make the process as smooth as possible.
