The Gloucester Bookcase is constructed from recycled elm wood, its large outer frame distinguished by generously rounded corners that soften the tall rectangular form. The interior is divided into an asymmetric grid of open compartments at varying heights and widths, providing a useful rhythm for display that avoids the mechanical uniformity of standard shelving. The elm grain, with its character of age and varied tone, gives every surface a quiet presence.
