The Brutalist Dining Table is a monumental round table in sal wood: a thick circular top with rich, varied grain set on a broad four-panel pedestal base that tapers outward from a central point, the panels themselves showing the character and weight of the material throughout. At 170 centimetres in diameter, it is a table for gathering around; the roundness of the form and the mass of the sal wood give it a ceremonial quality. Every surface shows the bold natural grain of this rare tropical hardwood.
